Support for salary, accommodation or travel expensesThe support may cover salary, accommodation and/or travel expenses. Financial support for hosting visiting professors taking part in teaching as well as research projects and visiting graduate and under-graduate students may be granted. The level of support is indicated below. In general, visiting professors are expected to have shorter stays, typically 1-2 weeks, while students in general have longer stays. The school encourages the hosting institution to match the grants for student visits. Supposing the school grants two-months salary expenses, the hosting institution will provide similar amount thus yielding a four-months stay with the school for the student. However, matching funding is not a strict requirement to obtain grants from the school. The support may be salary (accommodation expenses) and/or covering travel expenses. One requirement for receiving funding for visiting professors and scientists is that public seminars relevant for the graduate school students are held, and that the seminars are published at this web site at least two weeks in advance.
